The 3-in-1 infant car seat & reboarder set FamilyFix S from Maxi-Cosi includes the Pebble S infant car seat as well as the Pearl S child seat and the FamilyFix S Isofix base, so that your baby can travel safely from birth to around 4 years of age. Maximum comfort is combined with the best user-friendliness and maximum i-Size safety. In combination with the included FamilyFix S base, you can easily attach the infant car seat and child car seat in the car. The base is equipped with ISOFIX anchors and a support foot and offers the safest, easiest and quickest way to install the infant car seat and child car seat in the car. Once you have installed the FamilyFix S base, you can leave it in the car and simply attach the Maxi-Cosi child car seats with Click & Go.
Pebble S infant car seat from birth to 15 months
The Pebble S infant car seat offers safety and comfort from birth up to 15 months. It complies with the latest i-Size safety standards and, in conjunction with the FamilyFix S base included in the scope of delivery, ensures safe installation with visual indicators.
The integrated G-CELL side impact protection distributes the impact energy and reduces the risk of injury in the event of a side impact. A soft baby insert with separate head and bottom cushions offers security and optimum seating comfort.
Thanks to the intuitive Click & Go mechanism, the infant car seat can be attached quickly and securely to the FamilyFix S base. Alternatively, it can also be secured with the vehicle seat belt. The ergonomic carry handle makes it easy to carry, while the large sun canopy provides shade.
The Pebble S is compatible with Maxi-Cosi baby carriages and many other models. The cover, insert, belt pads and sun canopy can be removed for easy cleaning.
Pearl S child seat from 3 months to 4 years
The Maxi-Cosi Pearl S offers the highest i-Size safety standard and years of comfort for your child - from 3 months to 4 years of age. It is used with the included FamilyFix S base, which enables quick and easy installation.
The Pearl S adapts to your child's growth and always offers a comfortable ride with five recline positions. The integrated G-CELL side impact protection distributes the impact energy and reduces the risk of injury in the event of a side impact. The Easy-in belt system makes it easier to fasten the seat belt by keeping the belts open and out of the way. The padded 5-point safety belt ensures a secure fit.
It is secured in the car using the FamilyFix S i-Size base with ISOFIX connectors for a secure and stable installation. If the cover gets stained, it can be easily removed and washed in the washing machine.
Practical backrest protector with storage space
The Cover Me Deluxe backrest protector offers washable care and keeps the vehicle tidy. Made from high-quality, tear- and waterproof material, it protects your backrest while creating space for everything you need on the go. Pebble S is a universal, extended child restraint system with safety belt. It is approved according to UN Regulation No. 129 i-Size for primary use in „universal seating positions“ as described by the vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle user manual. If in doubt, please contact the manufacturer of the extended child restraint system or your dealer.
This child car seat is part of the S family and offers complete mobility from birth to around 4 years.

Category of your car seat: i-Size (40–83 cm, up to approx. 15 months of age)
Position of your child seat: rear-facing
In a rear-facing position, the child car seat may only be installed on a forward-facing vehicle seat.
Pebble S and your baby
• Make sure that there is no more than one finger's width (1 cm) of space between the straps and your baby.
If the gap is greater than 1 cm, tighten the straps more firmly.
• Make sure that the shoulder straps are at the correct height. The shoulder straps must be on or just below the baby's shoulder.
• Only use the Pebble S insert as long as your baby is not yet taller than 60 cm. Then remove the insert from the Pebble S.
CAUTION:
Never place the car seat on a raised surface such as a table or chair.
Pebble S in use
If the Pebble S is installed in a baby carriage, always use approved seat adapters and secure the Pebble S properly.
Pebble S in an airplane
• Attaching the Pebble S to a passenger seat in an airplane is different from attaching it in a vehicle.
• Attaching the Pebble S with a two-point safety harness is only permitted in an airplane.
• The Pebble S may only be used in forward-facing passenger seats in an airplane.
• Place the Pebble S child seat facing backwards on the passenger seat. Pull the 2-point safety belt through the belt guides (1,2). Close the buckle of the 2-point safety belt (3) and tighten the 2-point safety belt via the tensioning strap (4).
• The handle of the Pebble S must be folded upwards.
• The belt buckle must not be positioned in the belt guide of the Pebble S. Otherwise, secure fastening is not possible. Otherwise, it cannot be securely fastened.
• To remove the Pebble S, open the buckle of the 2-point safety belt by flipping open the buckle (5). Pull the 2-point safety belt out of the guides. Make sure that the Pebble S does not fall off the passenger seat when unfastening the buckle.
• The Pebble S must remain strapped to the passenger seat in the aircraft, even when it is not in use.
• The Pebble S may only be used in the aircraft on passenger seats that are intended for this purpose by the airline.
• Do not install the Pebble S in the deployment area of airbags.
• The instructions of the cabin crew must be followed.
• If the fastening instructions and the instructions for use are not followed, the safety of your child is not guaranteed
Pearl S
Pearl S is a baby and toddler car seat that meets the requirements of the EU regulation i-Size R129. i-Size aims to improve the safety of children in vehicles and provides for the use of UNIVERSAL ISOFIX child seats, the rearward-facing transport of children up to the age of 15 months and the optimization of head and neck protection. This baby/toddler car seat is part of the S family and offers complete mobility from birth to around 4 years of age.

Position of the car seat: rear-facing and forward-facing
The Pearl S must be installed in the special Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix S base.
Please make sure that you read the manual for this base carefully.
The child seat should be used rearward facing for children up to the age of 15 months to ensure optimum safety for the child. Maxi-Cosi recommends rearward-facing use of the seat up to a body height of 105 cm and a maximum weight of 18 kg (i.e. up to the age of 4 years). This provides improved protection for the child's head and neck area, which is still sensitive at this age.
You can install the Pearl S facing forwards if your child is older than 15 months and is at least 76 to 105 cm tall.
This child seat is only intended for use in the vehicle.
• The child seat has been developed for intensive use over a period of approximately 12 years.
• Do not use any load-bearing contact points other than those described in the instructions and marked on the child seat.
Use of the Pearl S child seat in the vehicle:
If the child restraint system is installed in all maximum positions, it may not fit in all approved vehicles.
Please check whether all possible positions of the child seat (recline position and headrest settings) fit in your vehicle.
Your child in the Pearl S child seat
• Make sure that no more than one finger fits between the belt and the baby (1 cm).
Adjust the belt more firmly if there is more space than 1 cm.
• Make sure that the headrest is set to the correct height.
CAUTION:
• During the journey, the child car seat must always be locked in the forward-facing or rearward-facing position in the base.
• It is forbidden to change the seat position during the journey.
Isofix base Familyfix S
The FamilyFix S base is a child seat base that meets the requirements of the EU regulation i-Size R129, which has been in force since July 2013. i-Size aims to improve the safety of children in vehicles and provides for the use of UNIVERSAL ISOFIX child seats, the rearward-facing transport of children up to the age of 15 months and the optimization of head and neck protection.
